Input Timer

I'm not sure if this is possible, but is there some way to code a "maximum time" setting for an Input command? I.e. I want the sub to have to type their response within a certain amount of time or be punished.

So, a simple example :-

[popup-What]

Input=What are you doing right now, slave?

NoInputProcedure=NoInput

I want the sub to have to answer the question within say, 30 seconds, or be punished.

Any way to do this?

Thanks in advance!

You can do it indirectly. Using a flag.

Like this:

[popup-What]

setflag=30sec

Input=What are you doing right now, slave?

NoInputProcedure=NoInput

removeflag=30sec

[flag-30sec]

MaxTime=00:00:30

SlowPenalty1=....

SlowPenalty2=...

SlowMessage=You must reply immediately, {$zzsubname}.

Ah, so simple. Feel like a tool now.

Thanks Sven 🙂

Don't feel like a fool. It's a question of knowing the different cards you have to play. It takes time.
