Multiple ifs and notifs

I'm setting up some permissions and procedures that have multiple conditions for both if and notif. I'm not far enough along in my script to test but I want to just confirm that I understand rightly that it will execute the way i expect.

If I have something like

[procedure-do the thing]

If=condition1
If=condition2
notif=condition3
Notif=condition4

And assume that condition1 is true (if shoudl allow it) but condition4 is true (ie notif should prevent it)

Am I right in assuming that the notif will trump the if? Does it matter what order they're listed/is there a hierarchy?

Would it make more sense to try to use a conditional execution [case...] instead?

Thanks!

I must admit that I don't remember what will happen in the situation you describe. And I haven't had time to check the code.

The order does not matter.

I think you are right that it will be better to use a case statement in this situation. Then you will be sure what happens.

Sometimes it's better one way, sometimes another.  🙂
