Here are some examples of job definitions, to explain how it works.

This job is to be done every 3rd-4th day. Except the first time the sub starts the program, then it must be done no later than the next day. The job is always announced 2 days before the deadline. If not done on time, the sub is punished with a severity of 50 and this is to be repeated every 24 hours until the job is done.

[job-Clean the bathroom]
Interval=3,4
FirstInterval=1
Respite=2d
RemindPenalty=50
RemindInterval=24:00

This job is do be done daily. It must be completed no later than 6 PM (18:00) and will be announced 6 hours before that, at noon (12:00). If it is not done 1 minute after completion time, the sub is punished with a severity of 50 and the job is removed.

Note that ExpireAfter=00:00 is the same as not coding the value, so it needs to be ExpireAfter=00:01.

[job-Eat lunch]
Run=Daily
Respite=06:00
EndTime=18:00
ExpireAfter=00:01
ExpirePenalty=50
